Ayu (iu) - life

Veda
- knowledge, study, science

Vata - ether & air, that which moves, dry, cold, rough, light, Fall/Winter season, elderly stage of life

Pitta
- fire & water, that which digests, hot, light, fluid, flowing, penetrating, Summer season, adult stage of life

Kapha (kafa)
- water & earth, that which nourishes & connects, unctuous, cold, heavy, slow, stable, Spring season, childhood

Abhyanga
- self oil massage

Agni
- digestive fire

Ama
- toxins

Dhatu
- tissue

Dinacharya
- daily routine or ritual

Dosha
- biological humor or consitution(vata, pitta, kapha)

Homeostasis
- balance

Khavaigunya
- a weak or defective space within an organ or tissue of the body where a pathological condition is likely to begin

Malas
- waste products: urine, feces, sweat

Nasya
- oiling of the nose

Neti
- rinse nose with warm water & sea salt

Prakriti
- unique constitution

Pranayama

is specific breath work that improves energy, and counters many diseases

Rutucharya
- seasonal routines

Snehana
- love & lubrication oil therapy to bring ama to periphery to get expelled from body
